Implementing successful Mentoring programs inside organisations requires time, effort, money and qualified people.  Depending on the size of the organisation, these people (mentoring programme managers/coordinators) can be external or internal. Most of the time, both (internal and external) programme managers are necessary. Their role is essential to build, develop and support high quality mentoring programmes. This session is about exchanging on good practices about how to train these mentoring programme managers, develop their skills or recognise their role.

Learning outcomes

The aim of the session is to raise awareness on the crucial roles and skills of mentoring programme managers in building effective mentoring programmes for all types of organisations. The purpose is also to share and discuss on the necessary skills of these professionnals.

 

Bio

 Dominique Cancellieri-Decroze  is a mentoring expert,who has created her own company, Mentorz Consulting, to assist organizations in the management of their Mentoring programs. Trained as Coach in 2012, she was in charge of the EMCC France working group on Mentoring from 2013 to 2018. Convinced that experience-sharing and mutual support in the workplace has a powerful impact on individual and organizational health, she has been working in two networks Capmentorat (France) and MentoringCo (international). She is the author with Pierre Angel of “From Coaching to Mentoring” (Armand Collin Editions, 2011) and with Danielle Deffontaines of “Mentorat: mode d’emploi” (How to implement effective mentoring programs) (Editions Gereso, in French, 2020).
